Detailed and accurate mapping of the subsurface

At SkyTEM Surveys we believe that it’s the detail that counts. Details set SkyTEM apart and contribute to your success. Our ability to map subtle variations and deliver accurate high resolution data from the near surface to depth can make a big difference for you and your mapping project. Details make the difference.

The SkyTEM helicopter-borne electromagnetic system is unique in its ability to produce data of comparable quality to ground EM data. With more signal and less noise compared to conventional airborne systems, SkyTEM data provides solutions for a wide range of exploration needs - from mapping changes in water condituions to subtle contrasts in layered earth and discrete changes in rock and soil. Finely detailed one-, two- and three-dimensional maps of sub-surface geology are delivered quickly after data collection. In addition to having information to assess before the helicopter demobilizes, SkyTEM’s ultra high resolution data allows for more confidence in interpretation and decision making.

Originally designed for mapping groundwater and to assess the vulnerability of aquifers SkyTEM is now employed by governments and industries worldwide for mineral, oil & gas and groundwater exploration as well as for environmental and engineering applications.
